This is true, it will send the RF code that the dimmer is looking for, not an IR code.

When you read the instruction manual for the dimmers, you will find out that you need a remote to assign the setting for each dimmer. So what vettr found out was that by using a 433 only remote to assign each dimmer, then you are able to control it with out any problems with the 433/zigbee + series remotes.
