David's New Home Theater System
This is a complete file for my Home Theater system. It is based on Daniel Tonks' wonderful design with some additions such as my hacked Blu-ray icon. For each device I have a hidden IR page which holds all the codes available for the device. There are some saved IR pages for devices not currently in use. I have to fake discrete codes for the Samsung DVD and Blu-ray even though the Samsung plasma has them - go figure.

HTPC with Mouse Controls and Close Button
My TSU7000 uses learned keys from the Microsoft Keyboard, all of the individual system remotes including the Microsoft Remote and one additional remote that allows 8 direction Mouse Movements and the much desired "close" button. Please note that in order to make this work right, you must purchase the Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse and the USB IR Dongle that comes with it and the Mouse Remote (B001M56DI0) and the USB IR Dongle that comes with it [Link: Amazon.com].

Mr. Lacks' New Look
This is my second attempt at the Pronto TSU7000. Seeing as how my system has changed so much over the last couple of years, so has my ability to improve my design. This is way better than my first attempt back in 2005. I hope you enjoy!

iPhone-esque Design
This is version 1.4 of my iPhone-esque design for the ProntoPro NG, but now includes the new iPod Touch Interface! The iPhone interface is still tucked away in the PCF though for purists. During the design, I found that much of the interface needed to be modified to fit the needs of a remote control, so it's not so much a complete copy of the iPhone/iPod Touch interface, but more my interpretation. This file includes updated reflective graphics from the original version of my PCF. Also includes new battery icons and new headers. I am also including the Photoshop files of each icon set in the ZIP file for those wanting more flexibility in creating their own icons, channel buttons, transports, etc.

A not-so-pretty two panel layout for the Samsung BD-P1000 Blu-ray Disc Player. I haven't found the discrete on/off power codes yet, so the on and off buttons are just the toggles. The top panel is the numeric keypad and the bottom panel the transport controls. It uses the hard buttons at the bottom of the TSU7000 as the cursor pad.

Eric Wright's Complete System
The system includes seperate radio and visual segments which suits me. Hard buttons have been programed to allow picture adjustment in all visual sources. I have also included an AV tools section which allows me to setup individual components. The system uses standard bitmaps provided by Philips and is a work in progress.

My Media Room
Design created using elements of others with some of my own as well. My goal was as simple and error free operation as possible. A key element was having so there was no guesswork for others to use, i.e. must meet WAF! I hid the configuration panels for the lighting and Sony VPL-VW50 projector (easily accessible via the initial home page) so others would not know it was there.

Some elements I like about it are:

  • Clean look and operation.
  • Each device page (i.e. DirecTV, HD-DVD, BluRay, XBox, etc.) have the logo of the device as the background.
  • All devices are automated fully, whether turning on or off.
  • A ton of discrete codes for pretty much everything.
Enjoy and if any questions let me know!
