Philips DSS Receiver/DVR DSR6000R For: HTM MX-700 (Device) By: Darin Cline | File uses press & hold macros to put two commands on one hard button, to make up for the missing chapter skip buttons, and others. FF becomes forward skip if you hold it for more than 0.2 seconds, RR-rear skip, play-1 minute jump (if 30 second skip is enabled on the TiVo), pause-slomo, stop is 8 second intant replay if pressed normally, or record if held for 0.2 seconds. |

Darin Cline's Setup For: HTM MX-700 (System) By: Darin Cline | Not yet complete. The main purpose of this file is to show the use of press & hold macros. Each device button on the main menu is a press & hold macro... press normally, and the required components turn on & get set to the appropriate settings, and the remote is switched to that device page. Press very quickly (0.1 seconds) and the remote switches to the device page, but none of the macros are run. For me, this is more convenient that the standard method of bypassing the macros by holding down the MAIN button while hitting the device button. Press & holds are also used in the TiVo and DVD devices to combine multiple commands into one hard button... FF becomes forward skip if you hold it for more than 0.2 seconds, RR-rear skip, play-1 minute jump, pause-slomo. Also, the power off on individual devices turns off only that device if you press less than 0.1 seconds, or the whole system turns off if you press normally (more than 0.1 seconds). |
