For: URC MX-980 By: Donald E. Fish | MX-980 Complete System File This complete MX-980 system has ten devices, eight of which include non-IR Database commands or are not in the IR Database at all. It also has its own customizable sound system as well as several examples using variables and IF/ELSE statements. All devices and Listen/Watch include favorites-type buttons that lead to common setup and power screens which exit directly back to the device or Listen/Watch page. This download additionally contains an MSC-400 file that is triggered by one of two included MX-980 files. There is also a standalone MX-980 file plus two MX-950 files that duplicates the layout and functionality of the MX-980 files. The MSC-400 file includes examples of macros utilizing sensor controls. A read-me document is provided with additional details. |

For: URC MX-3000 By: Greg Francis | Home Automation with an MX-3000 I've been a computer programmer for longer than I care to admit. It took some time to get used to the development environment for the MX-3000, but this forum helped a LOT. I'm finally posting my RCC file that controls all electronics and lights in my house, inside and out. Many of my controls for the various devices I borrowed from various posts here. I even took some digital pics my rooms and of some of my remotes to put them in the remote either as backgrounds or to use for buttons. I also tried to standardize the layout somewhat, almost every screen has a return arrow in the lower left to go to the previous screen, each room has a lights button in the middle of the bottom edge, each room has a power on/off button in the lower right, each lights screen has an All Off button. I used a lot of variables to determine which devices were on, and each light has its own variable so when it is off the slider is red and to the left, when it is on it is green and to the right. I use X-10 modules for the holiday lights and then hide those buttons during the off season. I even have a Packer G icon on the main page which brings up the schedule with buttons on each game to switch to the proper... (more) |

For: URC MX-3000 By: André du Fresne | Contest Entry #11: Jade@MX-3000 Second Place Winner! I am proud to introduce you to my Jade@MX-3000 configuration file. Some key facts: Almost 350 original graphicsSome 60 variablesAbout 330 Aliases / MacrosHybrid navigation: Either via tapping the screen or by using the cursor keysFull-working Tic-Tac-Toe, including win/lose recognitionNearly all buttons with ON / OFF statusAnimated screen changes4 devices (TV, VCR, DVD, AMP) plus Status and Game screens.Interactive HELP screens for all devices. With this configuration, I wanted to push the MX-3000 variable capabilities to the limit. By doing so, the remote always knows, which state the devices are in, no matter what you do. The main selection page lets you choose whether to watch TV, DVD or VCR. Go to the AMP screen to change inputs or soundfields etc. Selecting STATUS lets you view and change the state your devices are currently in. You will also find four preprogrammed sleeptimers there. And finally: a GAME for two, the classic game of TIC-TAC-TOE. In the main selection you can navigate either by tapping the desired action/device or - for ultimate convenience - use the... (more) |

For: URC MX-3000 By: Chad Fish | Contest Entry #21: Light Blue This was my 2nd attempt at making a more graphical remote layout with some animated icons and bitmaps for a more interesting look. The remote's blue backlit buttons complement the background chosen. |

For: URC MX-3000 By: Andrew Fox | Contest Entry #10: Bigblue Second Place Winner! Bigblue is a totally original RCC file. All buttons and backgrounds were designed using the most basic of tools, ZPaint and Paint. It was designed to be used intuitively by anyone picking it up with no prior experience of unifying remote controls or the system being controlled. Where possible symbols have been used instead of words. This RCC has passed both the baby sitter and mother-in-law tests with flying colours! Lighting control is available from all pages. |

For: URC MX-3000 By: Chad Fish | Contest Entry #20: Grizzlies This is a sports bar themed basement. The remote was designed to control different areas of the basement, including background audio throughout. A lot of planning went into how to lay out the remote in order to control all the sources and rooms and still have the remote seem easy to understand. |

For: URC MX-3000 By: Andrew Fox | Andrew Fox's MX-3000 Totally original layout using "LED" style buttons. Thanks to FreeButtons.com for their permission to use their work in this format. Layout relies on page jumps and animations to give the effect of buttons lighting up. Animated powering up and down and a animated "cleaning mode" page. |
