For: URC MX-3000 By: Dean Kline | Dean Kline's New MX-3000 I have taken some great work by others, and added a litte flair. I tweeked the grahics a bit, and added some of my own. I focused on the biggest problem with this remote, the space issues. This forced all the grahics to be too small to be practical. I fixed this problem, and was still able to add jump buttons on the top of all pages. Run the emulator to really see the potential of this layout. |

For: URC MX-3000 By: Domenick Ciccotto | Domenick Ciccotto's MX-3000 All Main screen device buttons are "press" for on macro and "press-hold" for Off macro. Also, small clear buttons at the bottom of the main screen are for just page jumps. Tap the "Info" hard button on the main page for a device list and "Screen Cleaning" page. |

For: URC MX-3000 By: Gareth R. Stitt | Gareth Stitt's Sailor Moon RCC This is the system file for an MX-3000 configuration I did for a Japanese health resort in Santa Fe, NM. They have a few high end rooms with various Japanese themes. This configuration was for a high-tech room called "Sailor Moon" themed after the anime of the same name. The buttons and backgrounds are from the built-in "Smooth" template but I've included transitional images from the "Sailor Moon" cartoon. I've spent a great deal of time making the user interface extremely intuitive and simple since it will be used by various guests staying in the room who will have no prior experience with the system. It may be helpful to anyone trying to design a remote interface for a customer to whom ease of use is the primary goal. Hope it helps somebody! |

For: URC MX-3000 By: Dave Grace | Grace Family Home Theater This is an updated file to my original posting. I have made many refinements to the system and how it is controlled. This is a dedicated theater room, with two level seating and a martial arts decor. I have included screen shots of most of my remote control schema. |

For: URC MX-3000 By: Greg Francis | Home Automation with an MX-3000 I've been a computer programmer for longer than I care to admit. It took some time to get used to the development environment for the MX-3000, but this forum helped a LOT. I'm finally posting my RCC file that controls all electronics and lights in my house, inside and out. Many of my controls for the various devices I borrowed from various posts here. I even took some digital pics my rooms and of some of my remotes to put them in the remote either as backgrounds or to use for buttons. I also tried to standardize the layout somewhat, almost every screen has a return arrow in the lower left to go to the previous screen, each room has a lights button in the middle of the bottom edge, each room has a power on/off button in the lower right, each lights screen has an All Off button. I used a lot of variables to determine which devices were on, and each light has its own variable so when it is off the slider is red and to the left, when it is on it is green and to the right. I use X-10 modules for the holiday lights and then hide those buttons during the off season. I even have a Packer G icon on the main page which brings up the schedule with buttons on each game to switch to the proper... (more) |
