Sony RM-VL710 Sony RM-VL710 reviewed!
On a budget, but concerned about getting budget-level features? Want a universal remote that economizes in price but not in performance? Then one of the latest remotes to cross our desk, the Sony RM-VL710, might be right for you. As an upgrade to the RM-VL700 the new RM-VL710 shares many of the same features, such as controlling 5 devices and offering full learning capabilities with enough memory for a learned signal on every button. But the new model has also been significantly upgraded and features a new design, more buttons and 9 useful macros. And you can get all of this for under $35!

So, I’m very pleased today to release our complete review of the Sony RM-VL710 learning remote control. As usual the review has been packed with oodles of details and gobs of photos, and you’ll even find a rewritten quick programming guide. Check it out!

Sony RM-V502 In addition, today you’ll also find a brand new bonus review, an addendum to our existing RM-V402 review that covers the newer Sony RM-V502. The RM-V502 is a preprogrammed-only remote that upgrades the RM-V402 with an LCD display and 8 macros. It’s priced similarly to the RM-VL710 at just under $30, so you’ll want to see how it compares.
