Strengths:Advanced code programming
Learning ability
Low price: $25-28
Weaknesses:Overall design
Small shaped numeric buttons
Lack of info in user manual
Limited programming memory
Review:This is easily the best remote that One For All makes, and is a much better remote that the much more expensive Producer 8 remotes.

The ability to create buttons using advanced codes is AMAZING! You can create buttons that are not even on your original remote.

If there isn't a device code for your equipment, then you can use the learning feature to get the buttons programmed.

The main weakness with the Cinema 7 (and it's twin sister, Radio Shack's 15-1994) is the limited programming memory. There is enough memory to learn about 24 keys, and enough memory to program about 45 keys using advanced codes.

Personally, I find the small number shaped numeric buttons annoying, and the general button layout poorly designed. But this is otherwise an excellent remote.

Strengths:Plenty of buttons
Learning
Massive library of pre learned codes
Weaknesses:Very limited learning ability
No pre-installed codes for UK satellite equipment
No UK teletext buttons
Cluttered button layout
Review:This review is from a UK perspective.
If I lived in the US and was using US equipment, I would probably have given this remote a higher mark.

I used this remote for about 8 months, and although it more or less fulfilled its function, its lack of UK satellite codes meant that all the learning memory was used up programming in basic satellite functionality. This fact alone means I have to give the Cinema 7 a less than perfect score.

Strengths:Incredible flexibility. The ability to program in the raw codes is amazing. Most remotes don't get all the various buttons correct, so this one lets you program them the way you want.
Weaknesses:You have to email the company to get the raw codes for your equipment, and they don't even advertise the fact that you can do so.
Review:I love this remote. For $20 you simply can't beat it. The flexibilty it gives and the ability to progam in raw codes is extremely rare in a remote at this price. The $200 remotes may look fancy, but this one gets the job done just as well and costs 1/10 as much!
