And now for something completely different...
Watch my own time-lapse video of a house being demolished.

RC News Story
This news update may not be remote control related, but it might still interest a few of you. On the weekend I completed a 5-day time-lapse video of a house being demolished by a backhoe, followed by rubble cleanup and preparation of the land for its new life as a parking lot for a car dealership.

I filmed this back in 2001 with my very first digital camera, a 1.9 megapixel (1600x1200) Epson PhotoPC 850Z, and only converted it from stills into video format this weekend. 1 photo was taken every 30 seconds – a total of over 6,500 photos in 5 days. Doing this actually wore the poor camera out – near the end the focus was failing, plus the shutter kept sticking so I’d have photos that were partially to fully blocked. I had to discard 1,500 bad or severely out of focus shots from the finished sequence.

It's in HD, so be sure to click the “full screen” button.

A decade later I would have done things very differently (regarding exposure and focus), but this was my first digital camera and first attempt at any sort of time-lapse capture.
