Hi,
Well after a recent change by our community to Dish Network, I am up to 7 remotes! It is time for a universal. I have a One for All, but that just isn't doing it anymoreThe oddball in my system is my Go Video tuner/amp. Here is what I have:
Toshiba TV ReplayTV DVR Go Video tuner/amp/DVD/VCR RCA VCR 2 Dish Network receivers
I am not too demanding. I like the Harmony remotes, but I am not sure which one to get. Maybe I don't even need something that fancy. The big problem I have is that I can't control the amp volume from any of the other remotes. They either don't have the codes or for some reason they won't work. Some macros would be nice and so would PC programming, but neither is mandatory.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I am fairly new to the capabilities and possibilites of universal remotes.
Thanks, I'll get back to studying this site now.
Ray

URC's MX-700. PC programmable, unlimited macros, full learning, and a huge database of codes.

Try a Harmony 550. Cheap and will do everything you need, plus very easy to set up.

It's more than the center select or RF!
You get a much better display window, backlinghting, the buttons "feel" much better, overall, way, WAY better remote.

Brian I agree. Everything about the MX-850 is wonderful. Before I bought my first one I was apprehensive about PC programming. Now that I have done it I find PC programming the 850 versus manually programming the MX-500 is like night and day.
