just a message to verify that the control works perfect, but the power on fails! I think the removed the power managemend function wich keeps the ip interface up in stand by.. Maybe someone has the service manual?

wall-e,
That's the main crux of the issue. I don't know that firmware can fix it.
Did you ever get try RS-232 to work?
They call me the "Thread Killer". Just watch!

Thought that that future was gone on the LX54?
It works with the LX53

I don't know about that, i don't have a LX54, altough i'm planning to buy one if IP control works.
I took a look at the user manual and i can't find anything about quick start for the LX 54, for the LX 53 it is described in the manual.

Could someone confirm quick start is not possible on the LX 54 and that you can't power it up by IP?

thank you

No "Quick Start" on the LX54 if it is the same as the USA models 430,41, or 43.
IP works but once they are off the port is Off so you either turn it on manually or with IR.

I am using AMX to control it. As I mentioned I got the IP control working (with an exception of power ON command that doesn't work).
As for RS232 I have all the settings that you mentioned, and tried baud rate of 9600 and 115200. Neither of which worked.

Hi,

I have the LX55 just out of the box and have some trouble to manage ip control, i finaly got a connection on port 8102, but no discrete command, it should be PN and PF, but surprisingly PF seems to be a toggle command!!!
do you have any info about this?
i have yet to try the other commands...
i'll keep you informed

Can you check something, is it possible to have multiple connections?

So, can it serve feedback to multiple devices?
Many IP devices included the previous models of pioneer couldn;t handle multiple ip connections.

Can some of you try this with the new Pioneer players?
Turn Quick Start off and send the Play command. That may turn the player On. I have heard that works with IR.
Let me know if it works with IP.
8102 is the correct port. Initial info was wrong.
