New to the forum. Would like suggestions on the best remote to control my x-10 items as well TV, reciever, cable, vcr, etc... Prefer hard buttons, IR and a LCD sreen would be a plus.

forgot to add "learning" function a must. And IR/RF compatible.

I'd check out Home Theater Master remotes mx-700, mx-600, mx-700,mx-800. Try here: http://bluedo.com/

You know of course that these remotes are IR and that RF is used to extend there range, (whole house control)and will not replace OEM RF remote controls.

Have you tried the"clicker picker"?

There are two models:

KID001: Very long learning curve, becomes more difficult to work with age.

WIFE001: Same problems as KID001 but harder to replace.
