Anybody have any suggestions on how to control multiple zones with x10 thremostats? I am building a new house and would like x10 control of the heat (no cooling). Can I buy 1 thermostat and control the whole house with it? I could use PC's throughout the house as additional x10 controllers. Would this work?
Thanks
Steve

What kind of heating system? Warm air, baseboard??
For warm air, you would need motorized dampers (this requires a professional to design the ducting system for balanced air throughput. The dampers are available at smarthome.com. A multizone HVAC controller would also be required (smarthome.com).
For baseboard heating, you would require heating relays to be able to switch the 240 volts. If setback is all you need, you might look at ConvectAir heaters with built-in networking allowing you to program setback from a central location.

It will be 6 zones. 4 zones of in-floor radiant heat and 2 zones of hot water baseboard.

It will be 6 zones. 4 zones of in-floor radiant heat and 2 zones of hot water baseboard all run by an electric boiler.
