I have a Lifestyle 35 and the bose codes in the latest master library do work for it.

However, they appear to go on for too long and they don't sustain. This is a big issue for the volume button.

I would like to get a better code library if someone has one. I have tried to paste in the Hex files into both the T2 editor and the Sonance editor in all formats offered MC5, 6, etc. but to no avail.

Any ideas for upgrading to better codes would be helpful or for fixing the sustain issue.

Thanks.

If the Bose codes work then they are not necessarily bad.

You need to change two points within the theater touch software to tailor the codes to fit your needs. On the tool pallet click on the little hand pointing at a page button (edit button properties). Next click on one of the buttons you have assigned a code to that you want to change, the edit properties dialog box will appear. Click on the tab marked “Infrared”. In the case of your volume control check the box marked “sustain”. Reduce the number of repeats to 1. Make sure to save your work as a new version so that you can go back and reload if you don’t like the results (I like to use a name and the date yourname03252004a ) Upload your changes into the remote and give it a spin, if its not right, increase or decrease the number of repeats until it fits your application.

Enjoy.

Oh and since you have the Sonance editor, you can change all of the repeats on one page, looking at the stock library it looks like most of the codes are pre set to 2 repeats and the volume is set to 1 repeat. I would in that case try setting all the codes to 1 repeat. In the case of changing channels on sat and cable boxes I have often had to change the repeats to 0

Thanks - That worked perfectly. I am late in getting back to you though!
