If the Bose codes work then they are not necessarily bad.

You need to change two points within the theater touch software to tailor the codes to fit your needs. On the tool pallet click on the little hand pointing at a page button (edit button properties). Next click on one of the buttons you have assigned a code to that you want to change, the edit properties dialog box will appear. Click on the tab marked “Infrared”.
