I know this has been asked before but curious if anyone has discrete codes for the Samsung BDP2500 and/or BDP1400. Trying to not have to do the play for on and play/power for off. That is really a problem when using the DVD as a whole home streaming player.

Has anyone called customer support lately? At first the message just said in a dull male voice "we are having a problem CLICK" 3 days later they changed it to a female voice that says "We are experiencing technical difficulty's thanks again for calling samsung CLICK" this has been going on for over a week, do you think they are trying to blow us off or what? I mean come on a multi billion dollar electronics company that cant even fix its own phone system Baaaahhhhaaahhahahha

try it yourself 1800-522-2946

Are you using this with a processor at all? I have used the USB out of the device into voltage status works well.

Using XP8. What voltage sensor works with the USB?

Hey, that is a great idea, I supose you cut off a usb cable and then used a volt meter to find what you need for the sensor?

Use one of the Sense Inputs and set it for Voltage

yeah. I also used this [Link: pinouts.ru] to narrow down the colors. A lot of TV's have USB now for Media playback and sometimes for service either way they usually still output the voltage when on. I have used this trick with a sony lcd too.

If Glack didn't answer your question. You don't need any additional sensor cut a USB cable Red should be voltage Black should be ground. Connect that to your sense input on the XP8. That is if the 2500 has a USB but the 1600 does so I would guess it does as well.
