I have a Dishnetwork DVR (DP510) with the plan of upgrading to a HD DVR within the year. My current remote for the DVR is in bad shape and needs to be replaced. I have tried a few cheap universal remotes in the past but always go back to the remote for the DVR since we use it the most. I have a Sony DVD burner/player and an Onkyo theatre system but the DVR sees the most remote use of all. What is a good remote that will control all this? It also has to win over the NON techie wife, meaning it needs to be as simple and intuitive as the original Dishnetwork remote. IDEAS?

If you like the OEM remote, why not just get another one? Ill sell you one:)
No, I wont install your plasma with an orange extension cord hanging down the wall.

An RTI T2C programmed by a pro would be able to incorporate all the used features on the DVR remote.
Who says you can't put 61" plasmas up on cantilever mounts using toggle bolts? <---Thanks Ernie ;)

i agree here , but looking at your system it looks like this may be a little high priced for your setup in comparison. their are alot of remotes that can fill your needs, but in order to keep it wife friendly, i would definatley say to get it from a pro. we are used to the wife factor and can help you overcome that challenge.

good luck
