I have a Dishnetwork DVR (DP510) with the plan of upgrading to a HD DVR within the year. My current remote for the DVR is in bad shape and needs to be replaced. I have tried a few cheap universal remotes in the past but always go back to the remote for the DVR since we use it the most. I have a Sony DVD burner/player and an Onkyo theatre system but the DVR sees the most remote use of all. What is a good remote that will control all this? It also has to win over the NON techie wife, meaning it needs to be as simple and intuitive as the original Dishnetwork remote. IDEAS?
