Hi everybody. I'm trying to set up a couple of RTI Demo remotes at our store and I'm having a difficult time with our windows media center. We have an Integra NVS 7.7. I used the remote that came with the unit to learn all of the codes into the RTI but a strange thing happens. If I hit a button, the media center will respond once then not again for about 30 seconds. For instance, if I hit the right cursor button (on the RTI) the highlighted selection will move right but if I hit the right cursor again the NVS won't respond. If I hit right, left, right, left the NVS responds every time. Just not to two consecutive presses. Weird thing is that the factory remote works fine. Any ideas?

The Integra NVS-7.7 uses toggle bit codes. You need to learn the codes twice for each command, learn them as 1a then again as 1b, then in the programming software, you will need to make each button a macro, in the drop down menu you will need to add the A<>B Toggle IR code command and place each a and b command in the macro

or download the mega 15 list and all the codes are there, I did one a couple of months back only issue I had was power, no discretes, I just did a power when the system went on and power when system went off...also placed a power button on the pages incase it went out of sync

There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

There is a registry change you can make in normal media center. Does the Integra let you do that Glack?

It's almost definitely the registery issue. Every Media centre I've done has needed the change.

Go to 'Start', 'Run' type "regedit". Do a search (F3) for "debounce" and change any entries that come up as "1" to "0".

Thanks guys. Good ideas. I'll try them and see how they work out. As for Glack's comment. This thing has been a nightmare since day one. I don't ever plan on selling one to anybody. But, it works well in our store to record off-air HD content. Other than that, I HATE it.
