I feel dumb asking this and I am sure somone has addressed this already. Adding strings directly to the library is easy, but how do you change the stupid "function name" I know you can paste it directly from excel, but what if you just want to make one or two corrections?

Just double click on the name itself just like you would a file. The rename feature is not the same as the older versions of the IR library.

I tried that, it does not work? All it does is highlight it

I double click slow and it works for me (I just checked it). It is funky... it will only allow you to edit if everything in the tree below it is closed.

It's really more of two single-clicks; one to highlight the function, and a second one to edit it.


This applies to device and manufacturer names, and it IS funky. You can click the name to close the tree, but then double-click it to open again, then click to edit without closing.

I know this is valuable, to someone, right?

it should be a right mouse click then rename as a choice. def. worth mentioning to rti if anyone is on the phone with them soon.
