I am having no luck getting the Power LED on RK3 TP's to respond to a power status input signal

I know the power input status signal is at the CB4 because the CB4 red LED lights: I set the RK-3 program to power status input and the RK3 LED glows red all the time: even when I disconnect the power status wire

Am I missing something?

You have a transformer plugged into the power status INPUT of the CB4, Right?

Look at pg5 of the CB4 manual.

Don't forget you need a status test macro to change the state of the LED color too.

You don't need a macro as long as the Power LED mode in the RK3 properties is set to Power Status Input, but you do need to use the screw terminals on the CB4 to connect to the RK3, the RJ45 connection does not carry the power status leads (according to the schematic on pg 5 of the CB4 manual).

I know I have a pwr status signal to a screw terminal on the CB-4 block: confirmed by LED on CB4:
only a CAT5 run to TP

are you saying I need to hardwire that line to the TP? I could find a spare in the CAt5 but it seems strange: I can try that next

The LED on the CB4 only tells you that tha CB4 is plugged in. For voltage status, you need to send voltage to the last terminal on the CB4.

Look at Pg 5 of the CB4 manual, and it will be clear.

Bruce, I see that too on the schematic, but on Pg 5 it says that voltage status will be transfered to all touchpanels.

I wonder if that is correct?

That is correct.
Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain.
