Now have RTI's and Phillips Pronto's along with accessories in stock for immediate delivery. I am offering 10% off for first time buyers and free shipping. This should make me competitive with just about anybody who’s legitimate.

What happens if you purchase a RTI remote from an unauthorized internet dealer. I heard RTI tracks the serial number's. Do you still get a warranty. I am waiting for a call back from RTI about authorized dealers on the net.

These come with full warrantees, and are out of several authorized distributors. I don't think RTI want's internet sales as the drop the value of the product, I was told this much at CEDIA. If you are worried look at etronix they are in Indiana, go to RTI's site [Link: rticorp.com]
do you see etronix there?
Yes RTI may put a stop to the sales, all I can say is get them while you can.

I don't believe Etronixs is a distributor. I believe they're a dealer.

RTI is a high end product, it is intended to be sold through distributors to custom installers who set the product up for their customers. In this way RTI keeps the integrity of their product and customer satisfaction the highest. Up to this point they do not have a dealer network available to the average consumer, if you go to RTI's site it says Dealers coming soon which says they are working on it.

I think I understand RTI's concern, this is not a product for the average consumer, most people can't program their VCR let alone this product. I believe a lot of the people on this site who understand programming can handle it, especially with the nice software that is provided with the T2's. But if your not comfortable with installing software hooking up RS232 cables and configuring the com port to work, you will end up unhappy with the T2 and RTI does not want that.
If you are not computer literate I would highly recommend seeking out a custom installer, to obtain the maximum benefit from this wonderful remote. I don’t want to create an unhappy customers either.

DJ & Bill you are correct I talked to I belive Mike or Mitch, Matt something like that at RTI about 2 weeks ago and they told be that Etronixs.com was an internet dealer at this time. I ordered my from them and received first class customer service, great shipping and become a loyal customer. They even help me expand my IRF-6 interface with more ports.
