I just did one of these the other day...

If memory serves, the code set that says "All current models" or "up to 2005" ... or something to that effect.

Worked great.

It sounds to me like you might be having other issues.

Are you building the macroes on the RP1 and calling them up from the remote, or building them on the remote?

Have you tried just firing them at the player w/ the remote?

Bad emitter/emitter location?

Bad DvD player?

Go through and eliminate each part...

Hey Andy,

its not that, i have all macros on rp1. remote is in standalone for ir to tv, everything else is system macro. I was told from a few friends that dv7600 works w/ new marantz dv4001. i had a T1 last week-IR Repeater System only- worked fine w/ problems at first. the problem is discrete power on, and discrete power off. Commands work fine. Now Im doing my own remote-T2+ w/ rp1-i cant get a discrete pow. on, or pow. off. Emitters not the problem, other remote works fine... Whatta ya think???

If you have a marantz reciever remote, press DVD then Power On and learn that IR code. Your right that the descrete power on doesn't work in the RTI library. The grid above has the RC5 command to do the descrete commands assuming you can convert them.

Do you have a marantz rc1400 remote? Usually comes with the better Marantz recievers. You will also need a a IR capture device for RTI. Thats your easiest way. I have never succesfully converted the RC5 to RTI. Thats probably because its easier for me to usualy dump it into a pronto and learn the command with my learner.

If you don't have the learner and remote i'll shoot you my IR library with it in there.

Just go into the theatertouch software IR library, then create a power on, off command, then click on hex and paste each of these in.

Power Off

I'm away from my work laptop, but if memory serves we use the old VC4400 (the marantz 5 disc dvd changer from a few years ago) power on and off codes for discretes.

No promises....

I posted the raw codes above for you, just go into the irlibrary, click on hex then paste the codes in. If this doesn't work let me know and i'll create library with them in it so you can import it in.
