Hello,

Bought this off of ebay as a replacement to the original remote that came with my Hughes TIVO unit. I should have looked harder, but the new remote doesn't have all of the functions as the original, and the directv site doesnt even show a manual for the original remote I could reference to try and set this up.

Just need to determine how to turn on the TV with the thing! Anyone know where to find the directions or model or anything about this remote to enter TV codes? Seller I bought it from is not responding to contact attempts.

That is series one Dtivo remote, it may not have all the tv codes as series two, but you enter them the same way.

1. press and hold TV POWER & DTV key, until the light remains lit.
2. enter the 4 digit code, if the light blinks 3 times the code was accepted.

You can find the codes in the MENU of the Tivo.

That worked, I shold have looked at that remote more thoroughly first, there's no input change button on it, have to get another one what does somehow.
