Do any of you own an Apex t.v. model #AT2702S and a Radio Shack 5-in-1 remote control (the buttons like up in a red color)? Here is the link for the .pdf document regarding the codes if you want to look at it and get a picture of what this remote looks like: [Link: support.radioshack.com]I've downloaded the manual for the remote but I can't find the codes for that damned cheap ass t.v.! I'm doing this for a friend but we can't find his original remote that came with the t.v. I let him have this generic remote for him to use but it's pretty useless now. How would that help? Are they the ones who manufacture the APEX t.v.'s?
Ok, which Toshiba model should I be looking at?

Actually the apex are rebadged changhong tv's, which use the toshiba code. With you not giving a model # or catalog # of the remote,and my webtv not able to open PDF's, I can't give you a particular code. RS remotes are either UEI made or RCA, and since you stated you were checking RCA website in another thread, I guess yours is a RCA. So try TV code 072.

Neither of those links work, and as you didn't post the model number of your remote, I can only guess which one you have. I'm guessing it's the 15-2103, which is a UEI remote, so the Toshiba TV code is TV/0156, that's the code that should work your Apex TV. And before you ask "how would that help", just try it, if it doesn't work, then come back for help. Rob http://www.hifi-remote.com

Rob..I also have a rs 15 2103 remote. For some reason
I cannot program my sony vcr. The code is 0033 but this
remote does not recognize it. The remote functions
properly on other vcrs but will not control this sony.
Any ideas on it? Thanks...Carl

Any ideas on it? Thanks...Carl Is this a 8mm vcr? The maker of this remote dropped code 0033, but there are two other sony vcr codes, beta-0034, vhs-032. If you can't switch remote codes on the vcr itself, then you are out of luck.

Had the same problem in finding the codes for APEX TV 2702. Here's a compilation from several sources but I have not tried them [yet]
Apex TV--0156
Apex TV--0748,0 765, 0767 [new, not tried for the 2702]
Toshiba TV--0154, 0156, 0060
Apex builds with parts of other manufacturer's subunits.
Try all until there is match -- maybe nothing works.
