Dave D'Arche,

Can you modify a TSU-7500 pcf to work in a TSU-3500?

You should be able to just open it in ProntoEdit (not ProntoProEdit).

Peter,

Yes, the color pcf file can be opened in the new SW, but the graphics look pretty bad, and I would have to change every single button for it to look decent.

Dawn,

There is no silver bullet to "dither" your color graphics down to Black and White. You could extract the PCF (as it is just a zip). Edit the images individually in the "Bitmaps" folder to your liking then re-zip the file.

Well. there was at one point a silver bullet to dither but it does not work so well any more, as it was a beta product which had some issues and was never expanded to work with later versions.

Lyndel,

I guess I could replace the 7500 bitmaps with 3500 bitmaps, and that way I wouldn't have to change every single button. Right?
