Hi all
i installed the new firmware Version 3.8.11 - since then all my macros with built in delays do not work anymore. All delays are set to 0.15 sec., the IR-Code duration is always set tho default. I use these macros to select TV-Stations > than 9 e.g 10, 11,...

I played around with several delay- and duration-time settings, but with no success.

Fortunately i was able to restore firmware 3.7.7 - now it works again.

Any idea or solution?

Regards
Daniel

Can't be certain, but there is no obvious reason why macros with those delays shouldn't process reliably. Did you follow Lyndel's instructions when you installed the new version? I suggest you read through the following thread if you have not done so already. [Link: remotecentral.com]

You did not indicate what type of cable box you have and also if the IR codes you were downloaded or were learned. If learned, are they from a good/clean learn?

If the codes are indeed clean, I suggest emailing ProntoTeam(at)philips.com - replace (at) with @ - a zip file with your PCF, a text file containing description of the PCF Device that no longer works , Type and model # of equipment - your cable box?, and a link to this thread.

Also indicate in your email the Firmware version that works and the firmware version that does NOT work. Also, go into 'Settings' in your remote and get a list of all settings you have specified such that they should be able to do an apples-to-apples comparison.

In the subject line of the email, indicate TSU7000/7500 Firmware Issue - Delays no longer working as expected.

Is there a new firmware (3.8.11) for the TSU7000 ? I working with 3.7.7
Also, is there an update for the software ? I'm using the 2.0.12 version ??

If there are updates for one of both, I didn't know and I'm registered in Philips e-mail, so I'm wondering why I didn't get them.

I played around with several delay- and duration-time settings, but with no success.

Had the same problem with my Panasonic DSS but I got mine to work by not using IR codes from Universal database. After going with learned IR codes I could shorten my delay times between codes. Now it is faster switching channels so it worked out for me.

I re-learned the Pioneer Codes - no success. For me the new Firmware does not work correct - with RU980.

This may be a bit premature at this point, but my TSU7000 has not locked up once in months. It has locked up three times since installing the latest firmware just the other day. I have gone back to the prior firmware and it has not locked up in several days now. Will have to see how it goes for the next few weeks. This latest firwmare update seems suspect to me at this point. Only time will tell.
