Learning keywords to use for searches is a must in critical situations such as when something does not work in front of a customer and you need an answer yesterday.
A simple search on keyword 'Mode' would have displayed the thread I provided above.

Be sure to read the Pronto/RC5000 FAQ!
The FAQ contains alot of information and can help you resolve various issues that you are likely to encounter when programming these remotes.
