Slightly off topic here, but hope you will bear with me!!

Just thought I would let you know about a fantastic product I have managed to get my hands on recently.

The Squeezebox from http://www.slimdevices.com/ is a network MP3 player.
It will stream audio from server software on your PC (windows, mac, linux etc.)
The software is opensource and infinitely expandable.

Anyway I'll try to stop making this sound like an advert (In case I need to say it, I have no connection with Slim Devices)

To come back on topic, I have created a CCF file for the squeezebox with a corresponding configuration file for the squeezebox.

I will post this file in the files section, but if anyone wants it in the meantime, post here and I'll send it to you.

I will post it on [Link: seahunt4pl.co.uk] in due course.

I have to agree this is such a good piece of kit.
only just had mine. An Xmas gift from the wife.
would be good to work out how to easily find tracks using the flexibility of the pronto.

I am working on a link from a supernudelist type configuration to specific albums on the squeezebox.
Will probably be very similar to the setup I had with girder / irman / winamp etc.

ie. number playlists, with the remote sending a
start x x x end
type code to select an album

have a look at [Link: seahunt4pl.co.uk] for how it was done in the pre-squeezebox days.

Any idea on how this compares to the AudioTron other than the fact it is wireless?
