My URC-9990 (Mosaic) regularly (possibly once a week)locks up, usually with screen image break-up. All I can do to clear it is to remove and reinsert a battery. Doesnt stop me from using the remote but is very annoying. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a known issue?

I have experienced the exact same thing, the image on screen breaks up and the remote totally locks up. It has only happened when loading a new screen and like you have said the only way to resolve the problem is to take the batteries out.

I have the same problem - and again it can only be cleared by taking the batteries out.
I wonder how many others have this problem?
