I just dug out my URC-6011 and can confirm that it will accept the CD/0167 code on the RCVR button, and can further confirm that it works by X10 stuff.
Eq, can you confirm that you have an IR543 box?

robman, i can succesfully program the rcvr button as code 0167 but it all stops from there. i just recently got my MX-500 working with the ir543 so i know my ir543 is good. after programming the rcvr button, what do i do? i have been pushing the rcvr button, pressing 1 on the numeric keypad, and pusing channel up. nothinig happens. i have even cycled through everybutton and nothing happens. any thoughts. thanks for your response.

<<after programming the rcvr button, what do i do?>>
The numeric buttons are the device selects for devices 1 thru 10 (0 - dev10), the transport buttons are the selects for devices 11 thru 16).
Power = All Lights On Mute = All Off CH+ = On CH- = Off VOL+ = Bright VOL- = Dim
I can't guess what you are doing wrong, while I normally use m 15-1994 to control the lights, I did program a URC-6011 for the sole purpose of verifying that it works for you, and it does.
