I have had the 15-1994 for about 2 months and it seems to use batteries extremely fast. I have changed the batteries about 3 times. I have one device which has all learned codes, so the learning is about full. Any ideas?

Thanks

My backlighting died so long ago I don't remember for sure, but I *think* you can press the little button with the lightbulb on it (near upper left corner) to deactivate the backlighting.

To turn off the backlighting, you just pust the putton with the lightbulb on it, on the top left of the remote.

My batteries are the originals that I put in when I bought my two remotes about 3 months ago. No problems yet, and I use the backlighting.

BTW, anyone notice the hum from the unit when the backlight is on?
