Well I just recieved my Q50 from an authorized custom installer. Well I popped in my software read everything and followed directions to a tee. Well when it is done copying files and it says your software installed correctly there is none of the two boxes to check for add MyNevo.com to your favorites or to automatically start Studio Pro. So I just click OK that is all that is there. So then I launch studiopro myself by double clicking and it comes up as you must register your software. Then I click OK then it doesn,t go to the registration screen It goes strait to designs. So then I go up to help and register online and check for Nevo Pro updates are grayed out. Has anybody heard of this? I can't register this thing at all. All I know is I better not have gotten one of these ebayed remotes. I will be p****d. Any help would sure be appreciated. I really want to keep this thing but if this software has that part of it removed what good is it? Any help would sure be appreciated.

Well, the only time I have seen those settings disabled is when I don't have an internet connection... Do you have a valid internet connection? Is it a wired network or wireless or one of those edge cards? Do you have a proxy? You can also try an "ipconfig/all" in your command prompt to see you connection status.

In short we need a bit more info, but in general you can always register and update your software, even if you're an end-user. Your installer should also be able to help you out.

I believe those buttons are also grayed out until NSP is registered, so what he is saying makes sense.

What I would suggest would be -- checking for updates from the start menu (it takes quite a long time!) and downloading the latest NSP, then trying to register?

Well I did check for updates and it downloaded a bunch of stuff. Went back and the same thing. I do have a evdo verizon wireless card. I am connected to the internet. I have been so busy on other stuff I haven't even called my installer. I just figured it was something easy. Thanx for your assistance though.

You may have some spyware software, Norton or something else blocking access to the site.

That is what I was thinking. Man it would be nice if it would tell you and gige an option for shutting it off.
