Here are the correct discrete codes for the following devices if anyone cares. It took quite a bit of tweaking to figure out that some of the codes in the Files section have errors. Others I had to use other remotes and trial and error. The following codes work for my equipment and likely will work for anything similar.

I tried the Panasonic RP56 codes and they did not work for me. Can you double check the codes to make sure those are the ones you are using for ON/OFF?

I ended up having problems with the ON code hanging up the player so instead I use the OPEN/CLOSE code to turn it on. I figure that I'll always want to put a DVD in the tray anyway....

Thanks, tkrug. I am not sure why it didn't work for me. I am using a couple of macros for ON and OFF:

ON: Play+Stop
OFF: Play+Power

Those do the trick, but I would love to have real codes to do both. I will play around with the OFF code. Thanks for digging these up!
