Does anyone have trouble with the Panasonic DVD player's 'STOP' button? Cannot copy it into the ProntoNeo. Tried using other universal remote to "code" it, also tried copying it onto a SIMA Sur-20 remote, still cannot transfer it onto the ProntoNeo. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance.

What model of Panasonic? I have the RP56, and did not have any trouble with it. If you have the RP56, the codes in the database should work.

I also have this problem with the RP91. Apparently the RP91 stop code is incompatible with the Neo (too lengthy, I believe), and thus unlearnable. Check the files on this forum for the Neo, I believe someone has figured a workaround and posted the codes. I haven't had a chance to try the workaround yet.

My Panasonic is DMR-E20 (DVD-Ram recorder), but I also tried other Panasonic DVD players remotes which will work the basic play, pause, stop, etc. Still new at this, don't really know what "codes in database" mean:( I'm just using the old method, putting the remotes face to face learning button for button

I had this very problem today (just got my neo) with my Panasonic RP62 -- the only button the neo wouldn't take was the stop button. I had to use another universal remote that had already taken the stop button code, and keep trying. Took a while, but after the usual adjustments (45 degree angle, various distances apart...etc) it finally worked.

I guess the message is -- keep trying!

Why the 45 degree angle? Why all the hassle? There is something wrong with this picture!

They said that i can buy a new one, because they changed a CHIPSET inside (Marantz Hotline Germany 07.Nov.2002).so i buy one today and it works properly. maybe the same thing with PRONTO NEO????

Triodemark, haven't you helped me to get my "STOP" button to work on my Denon DVD 1600? it seems these remotes are the same.
I used a ncf file from Max_power, it's for a RC3200 but with neohacker you can save it as Neo file. I copied the stop button from this file and it works. If you think my ncf file could help mail me..
