Hi has anyone had any luck putting backgrounds on their remote using neo hacker.
I have had a play around but have not been able to get it to work???

I have never heard of anyone doing or even trying this. I don't believe that the neo is capable, nor do I know how this would even work with a 4 color greyscale remote....

I have put a picture on the remote that has taken up the whole page and you can make it act as a button. but then transposing this to a background with buttons on the top is rather hard

Well, that was my point. You can make the whole screen an image but you cannot display anything over it. Also, my other point was that it would be difficult to come up with a background and overlay buttons that are clear and distinguishible from each other when you only have 4 shades of grey to work with.

The only possible "workaround" is to create your "background" image and then create the buttons that go on top of them. Then combine the two image sets into one graphic with one layer on top of the other. Then use your imaging software to 'cut' the combined image into pieces that could each act as a button. Of course, you are limited by the neo only being able to handle rectangular buttons.
