Is there a way to get into calibration mode on the touch screen without having to run the firmware update ? My remote has been stable for over a year , and I'm not sure I would remember all the tips / tricks / tools I used to get it to this point -- NeoHacker, NeoEdit, etc. I just want to calibrate the touch screen ....

Thx .

As Steffen said, that will work....but I wouldn't worry about losing your configuration. Assuming you saved your hacked config in neohacker, changing the firmware or anything else isn't going to affect your ncf.

Thanks all - I knew there had to be a way to do it. However, when I do the calibration I get a message that "calibration failed". Any tips on how to resolve that ?

Regards,

JLF

Update - I searched the forums and found a solution to the "calibration failed " message, but it didn't seem to address the root issue of the screen being out of calibration.

If I touch the calibration target on the upper left of the screen about 0.25" to the left of the actual target, I can get the unit to say "calibration succeeded". However when I go into "use" mode the screen is still slightly out of calibration.

Any other tips would be appreciated .

Regards,

JLF
