I'm trying to stand on the shoulders of some giants here - I have downloaded some ncf files for the ProntoNEO from the file section and I'm trying to use some of the good stuff to customize my ProntoNEO. So I' have both my ncf file and the one I'm trying to copy from open in NeoEdit, but when I paste into my ncf, I lose all of the codes and actions.

I have to be making some sort of obvious mistake, but it has me stumped.

I'd really appreciate some help.

Thanks.

I am guessing that the buttons you copied did not actually have codes stored in them. It is likely that these buttons were all linked to other buttons. In other words, suppose I had a TV page that has all of the controls for my television, and a Cable page that has all of the controls for my cable box. Then, let's say I have a page that I use to control an activity like a "Watch" TV page. On that page I include channel buttons from my cable and volume buttons from my TV. These buttons don't have codes stored in them, rather they are linked to the original buttons. If you copy these linked buttons there is no way to copy the links so you have no codes. You need to find and copy the original buttons if you want the codes.
