I'm sorry, but I'm just not sure what the problem is or what you are asking. Could you try to explain the problem again?

the problem is that the thomson remote sends 2 different codes ( an a and a b code) for the same button. for example there are two codes for the button ok. the neo is able to learn only one code. for example: when i press the ok button on the thomson remote (ok a) the tv screen freezezs, when i press him for the second time (ok b) the tv screen goes on. with the neo i can only freeze the screen but i am not able to go on. and this problem have all buttons on the thomson remote. some month before i had a pronto 890 and this remote was able to learn the codes and knew wich code (a or b) the thomson wanted. i got to know that the pronto 890 and the neo learn codes in different ways. if you did not understand my problem or if you want to know more about this problem please search for "thomsom" in the neo forum. somebody made a thread there and may be you understand his discribtion.

bye sebra

i myself am quite new to this but i believe the answer to your question is to create two identical pages one with the "a" codesets and one with the "b" codesets then using neoedit add "jumps" to every command so that after pressing for example the AV button on "page one" the pronto "jumps" to "page two". i hope this is intelligible and more importantly accurate. hope this helps.

that is a good idea and i have allready tried it. but the problem is that the neo works very slow because of these many pages. so i think this is an option but not a good solution because the neo is the first philips remote which cannot handle with this a and b code. and i supose that a remot for more than 170 € is able to learn codes from one of the main tv manufactors in europe.

ok, second attempt, try this: for every button press you have to make the pronto send out two commands. the first command has to be one that will not have much effect- i used the 0 button. the second command is the one you are wanting for example the 'source' button. perhaps put a small delay between the two commands.
this works perfectly on my Thomson TV but then only the 'source' button suffers from this affliction. regards mark.

I am workning with exactly the same problem, both for my Thomson TV and my Thomson VCR.

I only have NEOEdit, is there another software called NEOHacker? And then, where can I find it?

Thankful for any help.
