Before adjusting my RCF files can I assume that by uploading my current file form my Neo the learnt IR codes will be uploaded as well and therefore I dont have to get the ProntoNeo to learn them all again after downloading ??

as long as you don't overwrite any of the buttons with learned codes on them it should work. I always built my ncf first, downloaded it, learned the codes onto the buttons, uploaded it and saved it.

As long as you are using latest firmware and software thats correct.

I also save more than one config aswell as there only tiny files.

Save all backups with date at end.
i.e ... neo020604

That way if something bad happens, your covered!

Also its fun to look back to see how your remote config has matured over time !!!
