I have a Pronto Neo and was curious if it can control X10 switches to dim the lights in my family room?

To clarify, you will need an IR543 unit to receive the IR codes and Re-transmit them as X10 signals. These are not that expensive and can be found at x10.com

I went to X10.com and did a search for IR543 and nothing came up. Any ideas?

I am looking to get a couple X10 lamp modules, to start with. Can I get any X10 light modules? In addition to those I need to get the IR543, correct? Is there anything else I need? What other X10 modules can I control with the IR543 and my ProntoNeo?

The IR 543 will control any up to 16 X-10 modules of any type.

When I got one the wall switch dimmer module I wanted for downstairs was back-ordered. SO I got a plug in lamp module from Radio Shack and temporarily set it up upstairs. My Wife's comment "Are you too lazy to get off your butt to flick the light switch?"

Two weeks later when the wall switch arrives and I was about to move it downstairs to the home theater, my wife's comment was "But we use this room more, it should really be upstairs."

Needless to say I had to order another one.
