Ok I got a Pronto Neo yesterday and have it pretty well programed at this point but I am trying to setup some good macros for my family and I feel I need some descrete codes to make it easy. My equipment is a HK AVR35, Panasonic XP30 and Sony GWIII. I am looking for descretes for power for each of these. I have downloaded the descretes file from the files section but how do I use it? Any help or links to files would be great. Thanks.

Are you talking about the discrete hex codes for the Pronto? If so, you'll have to install NeoHacker. Then you have to open your ncf in neohacker and cut and paste the hex codes. You may even have to convert the hex codes to neo-compatible codes using one of the conversion programs in the neo file area before cutting and pasting. I'm not sure since i haven't done it in a year.

A much easier solution is to find someone's ncf in the Neo files area and simply copy their discrete buttons into your ncf.

Er I was trying to use the discrete file that is in the files section but I didn't know how to do it. I am going to go with your second suggestion though and cut and past from other people's .ncf files as that is straight forward but I am not 100% sure if they will work for the AVR35 or the GWIII as I haven't found people with those files uploaded. Thanks for your reply.
