I hope by clarifying my question/problem someone may be able to understand and help me figure out how to find what I need to do in-order to find the codes or know what I'm doing wrong.

I have the MX-3000

This was my original post I think I confused all of you as well as myself so I hope I did better this post.

I need some help finding discrete codes for these components.
Quite literally I do not know what to do or where to go.

Another problem is that every set of codes I try for the DV-F727 changer will not work.
I have to learn them and I do not understand why. Since I have exported it from posted files and tried the one in the data base for the remote IR codes in the MX-3000 software. Is there two models of this unit or am I doing something wrong. I download an rcc file with a working DV-F727 changer and test the IR codes and they just do not work. Even though I change nothing. I definitely am lost can anyone help.

DVD changer Pioneer DV-F727 REMOTE # DVD changer---CU-DV039

TV1 Sony KDF-E50A10 REMOTE # TV1--RM-YD003

TV2 Sony KV-FS2713----Not too important REMOTE # TV2---RM-Y180

Receiver Pioneer VSX-9900S REMOTE # Receiver----CU-VSX023

DTV Receiver Hughes HIRD-E8 REMOTE # DTV---HRMC-1 or HRMC-6 RF

Thanks in advance for any help.

The DTV receiver is in the Pre-Programmed IR Database of the MX-3000 Editor under SAT>HUGHES>HIRD-E86. The rest of your components should be there also, just try another similar model and try to find one that works. Not all components have discrete codes but before giving up, search the file downloads for a similar model if your exact model is not there.

On the DVD in the code sets I have there is no power in any of them, you should be able to use a play, stop for on and a play, power for off.

On TV1 and TV2 There should be lots of sony codes that have discrete power and input commands, might have to test and see what will work

Pioneer Receiver I have a few code sets with discrete power and inputs another you will have to test and see what works

Hughes E8...I have done a few E86 and only discrete on that was select HD and select SD, never found power..might have to leave that on or wait for the new mpeg4 stuff and upgrade

all the codes are in Hex if you want them, you will have to use pronto edit to import them into MX editor
There's no worse feeling than that millisecond you're sure you are going to die after leaning your chair back a little too far.

you can use universal browser to import hex .ccf files into MXEditor also. then just drag and drop. found useful for iport docking station. they're codes were on the website, then just use the browser and bam.
