When I first programmed the discrete power codes for my Pioneer Elite plasma into my MX-850, I assumed I was good to go. I have since discovered that the power on code doesn't always work reliably. Sometimes, I am forced to use the OEM remote to turn the plasma on. This, of course, totally screws up my macros and frazzles my poor wife to no end. :)

I have tried downloading the code from several different sources, and I still get the same result. This is the only discrete code that I have problems with. Every other code is 100% reliable. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Is there a solution?

Sounds like the code is corrupt. Have you tried inporting the IR command from a ccf file into MX?

Yes. In fact, I have tried grabbing the code from several different .ccf and .mxd files with the same result every time.

Sure. What remote do you have? If you have an MX-700, 800 or 850, I can e-mail you an .mxd file.
