Hello,
I have a new Philips LCD TV and I Have problems with my MX500. When selecting volume+ a menue appears and volume rises. When pressing the button it stops after some rising. I have to wait and try agin. Volume- the same. There seems to be an additional bit in the command.

I'm also having some issues with my MX500 and a Philips LCD. After learning the arrow keys from the OEM remote, the TV does not seem to respond well to the MX500's commands. There is usually a delay when pressing up or down and sometimes multiple presses are ignored. The TV is a Philips 42PFL7432D.
