Thanks to this nice piece of software I was able to teach my H900 new commands. It seems that the remote is utterly unable to record any commands through it's own IR-sensor but with this software and eventghost+mce ir-receiver combo I was able to first convert my hdmi switcher's remote commands to pronto code and then upload them to my harmony account. Thank you for that.

Hey HellG, can you share your patches please? I'd like to try your technique on OS X. Thanks!

I decided to try this myself and put together a python script that allows you to upload codes without having your remote attached. You can find it here:

Hi guys,

My output is below and I think I am doing everything correctly as it says Success! at the end.

However, the new HDMI OUTPUT 2 command does not appear at the bottom of my commands.

Any ideas appreciated

cheers

There is a new version for Windows available ([Link: freenet-homepage.de]), that does not need a remote to be connected to the computer in order to learn new infrared commands from a Pronto Hex Code. If no remote is detected the only function is to learn from a single hex code of from a file with hex codes as described above.

So it is (probably, as I can not test it) possible to learn Pronto codes for remotes that are not supported by the libconcord library.

Cheers

HellG.
