Since XM Radio will be replacing Music Choice on DirecTV starting November 15th it would be awesome if someone could create logos for all of the XM channels.

I searched the forum but haven't found where any of these have been completed yet.

JHTHREE!! WOW! I just wanted to say THANK YOU, THANK YOU!! Your icons are absolutely PERFECT, STUNNING, AMAZING, :). You did an incredible job there my friend..all scaled just perfect for the Harmony. The background selection is another incredibly cool offering as well, and has made my 880 a ton more readible. When you get the right color scheme on the 880, it sure makes a difference! Now, I just wish I had my TV Guide back, and I would be the happiest person on earth! LOL Thanks again from your California friends! :)

Thought this deserves a bump with a couple questions.

I am starting to design my interface for my 880 and was wondering if anyone has seen any limitations on what the remote can handle?

Is a GIF format the only one that it will read?
Does is accept Animated GIFs?
Has anyone figured out if you can change the top and bottom bars?

Since tazzer's given this a bump already, I'll nudge it along too....

I read that fire_dude has assembled a set of Australian/Foxtel icons to use - are these available anywhere?

Well after screwing around today I answered some of my questions so I thought I would pass them along

bmp, jpg, gif, png, tiff images are allowed for backgrounds and slideshow pics
gifs cannot be annimated

Bottom bar can be changed but top bar cannot.

I hope they allow some changes to this as of right now everything is very limited.

I will start uploading some new backgrounds for everyone very soon.

Type in the logo you want. Most are the right size for the remote - some bigger ones stretch too much.

ABC logo
HBO logo
CBS logo
FoodTV logo

etc.

Could any one refer me to a decent image resizing tool ?

Currently, to rescale my own icons I have to use :
- Microsoft's Image Resizer Powertoy to get the icons down to a smaller size
(works in batch, but the aspect ratio often doesn't fit the 64 x 32 required on the Harmony)
- Paint Shop Pro to adjust the Canvas size to fit the 64 x 32 screen without stretching the image (this doesn't seem to work in batch)

There must be some tool out there, which will auto-resize and pad the borders to maintain the aspect ratio ?

Ideally a tool that can take one swipe against batch files would be useful.

This post was a few months ago - has harmony enabled an update to allow activity icons to be changed ? I notice davelei shows graphics (and a pic of his 880) with them changed, but above in the same post he indicates that you cannot?

What you saw was a mockup on the left and the activity logos shown as favourite channels on the right. Just to demo what they will eventually look like.

Hello all! Sorry I've been gone so long. Real life got in the way and I let my harmony 880 site fend for itself for a few months! I'm going to go through all the emails I've received in the past few months and the messages here and will get an update to the site up soon! First up for you DirecTV peple will be some XM music logos! Look for them later this week!

Thanks Smash! I've added your backgrounds to the website. Also added today - 70 XM Radio icons! Since you can't add favorite channels to your XM activity (yet), these are mainly for DirecTV people. Let me know if I forgot any major channels.
