It's never too early to shop.
Just like some people are put up their Christmas lights up alread around here. Including my city. It has it lights up, which was up and on before Halloween.

And most of my coworkers not only talked about it. But has received stuff already.

So My Point and E's point is. It's not too early.

Who are you to say that we're wrong here?

Christmas is about giving. Because Christ gave his life away for OUR sins. In this day and age, we give by buying gifts for other people. Specaily for one's who we love.
I don't know about you, or anyone else on this site. But I've given something away to someone who I don't know. And don't care if it started something or not.

So in my eyes and mind, E and I are not wrong to say it's not too early for shopping for Christmas.

never said it was too early to start shopping.

just too early to be counting down.

and this really isnt the place to get into a discussion about differing views on chrisitanity or any other "religions".

i too give stuff away to entities i dont even know.
THEY take beaucoup cash out of my paycheck every week.

Like said above, thanks giving in November is a US thing, here in Canada it is in October, and stores usually put up decorations as they are taking down the Halloween stuff (and some even before that). As to what is acceptable topics for this forum, we can look at three places

1) at the bottom of the screen

Please read the following: Unsolicited commercial advertisements are not permitted on this forum. Other buy & sell messages should be posted to the Marketplace Forum. 2) at the introduction to the forum (forum page)

Where you can talk about anything not already covered by one of our other chat forums.

3) at the introduction to the forum (home page)

General chat forum.

none of what was said above goes against Daniel's rules for the forum. (OK for # 2 we would need the full extent of what is covered by the rest of the forums, but you can take my word (or go look for yourself) that there is no Christmas or religion forum on this site)
