Hmm...they definitely need to revisit this over previous versions as it seems to depend on the font you use. I have the page displayed in AgencyFB 10 and can hardly see the words. Luckily I haven't changed this input box style. But if I try others they do not work, I suppose it depends on how the HTML page style works with various fonts

Getting back to where this started, clearly, in it's default format, Opera is not as good as displaying a page as FF

That's the puzzling thing. If you're using Author Mode I cannot understand how you've manage to overwrite Daniel's Tahoma and if you're in User Mode, have you not change the page style; i.e. is it different to those images I sent?

As for page presentation (T.W.A.T. stats), the triangles look much better in 18 size rather than 16, but of course, everything else is that much bigger too.

LOL...there's no puzzle, not now I'm back home with a better monitor (and a decent pair of glasses)...the answer is quite simple - I've been talking out the back of my head.

As you have rightly pointed out I have not been changing the font but changing the font size, and hence no bug as I implied earlier!

So sorry about the time waste...I'm just going back to my box as I think I left some humble pie in it...

FF3 has a few new features that I like. One is the ability to back up your Bookarmarks easily. Another is to zoom in on the page for the older-than-dirt eyes of mine.

I am on a Mac, and have had it crash about every 4th day since I installed it the same day it came out. I expect a point release within the next month.

So far so good.

I haven't tried Opera in years. I'm happy with Firefox, so I doubt I'll even download it to try it, unless djy can come up with some reasons why I would want to.

Cheers!

Nope, can't say as I can, but if you're on a mac why aren't you using Safari?

Is there an issue with addons in FF3? I've been reading that a lot don't work properly. I won't switch until I figure out if I'm going to have issues or not.

Well unless you count the AVG surf shield (which needed an update for FF3) the only add-on I'm using is video download helper and I've had no problem.

Yeah, I'm looking and some of my addons don't seem to be FF3-friendly.

I'm using:

Adblock Plus
ForecastFox
GetMail
Google Toolbar
IE Tab
McAfee SiteAdvisor
New Tab Button on Tab Bar
PicLens
Plain Old Favorites
UnPlug

To be fair, having checked, several of those addons do (now) say they're for older versions.

You could always try some others; e.g. for New Tab Button on Tab Bar try New Tab Button on Tab Right (adds an IE style button on the tab bar - works fine), for UnPlug use the aforementioned Video Download Helper (and add the automatic conversion tool).

As for some of the others, I've got the AVG search and surf shield addon (I use AVG internet security - AVG 8), I gave up with Google Toolbar long ago and I wouldn't even bother with the likes of Adblock, ForecastFox, or GetMail. PicLens, however, I might give a try - someone else recently mentioned this one to me.

Bump...

Why not use Adblock Plus? It's seriously the best thing ever for internet browsing. I'm using IE right now and I forgot how crammed the internet is with banner ads, Google ads, etc.

I like the New Tab Button in a fixed place as that's where the mouse always has to go, regardless of how many tabs are open.

I've ditched ForecastFox, as it was extremely annoying. It would pop up severe weather alerts when it was perfect out, and it never gave the right conditions. I downloaded 1-ClickWeather, though, and it's great.

As for Unplug...it's just the one that I have. There's so many of the same type when it comes to that, it doesn't seem like it matters.

As for the Google Toolbar...I don't use it anymore. I've just reconfigured the FF toolbars so the FF search bar is where I want it. Guess Google Toolbar was an old habit from IE.
