Just wondering if anyone had found or made some discreets for the scientific atlanta digital set top boxes. Please e-mail me if you have, or if you like messing with codes here is the on/off code for them.

This includes the 2100/2200/3100/8000/8800 and the really big one I belive it's a 2000. The scientific atlanta rep was at Comcast a few weeks ago but she didn't know. I'd really apreciate it and I'm SURE many others would as well.

Pat,
This a frequently asked and never answered question. AFIK, there are no discrete power commands for this or the majority of other set top boxes (STB).
I measured the power consumed by my DSS STB some time back and it is $4/year on or off. With a digital multimeter, I could not detect ANY difference in power consumed regardless of the power setting. So your best choice is to leave it on all the time.
