Will trade right arm for codes to above model. I have tried the various thomson codes plus proscan & rca.
Mostly interested in On/Off/AV1/AV2/AV3

I don't know the Neo's encoding scheme. Is it posted somewhere? Otherwise the Pronto would be much more useful.

I have seen this Thompson protocol before but, don't have any notes. It is definitely not the same as the RCA . If you have the Off and On commands already, are you now just looking for the input commands?

Hi Jon,

I'm not sure about the on/off codes above the off sometimes locks the tv although this is apparently only possible if requested for 3 seconds from the remote !

Are the 7000 codes above the thomson specific ones ??

What would be the way forward to work this out ?

I guess it would be possible to build a circuit to capture the IR and convert to HEX as in daves article

The 7000 codes are toggle-bit codes. I just send an e-mail to with all 127 codes. Now you just have to try them all. :)
